Características
O Centro de Idiomas, juntamente com outras atividades complementares, foi implantado na expectativa de oportunizar aos alunos e seus familiares diferentes formas de aperfeiçoamento. A oferta desse serviço dentro do CLAK torna mais prático o acesso ao mesmo por parte das famílias.
O Centro de Idiomas do Colégio Luterano Arthur Konrath (CICLAK) está à disposição de todas as pessoas interessadas em aprender a falar uma segunda língua. Podem fazer uso desse serviço tanto os alunos do CLAK e seus familiares, assim como pessoas da comunidade em geral.
Inglês
O curso de inglês oferecido atualmente utiliza a metodologia “interchange”, amplamente conhecida e que tem como referência o já consagrado material didático denominado “Interchange – third edition”, editado pela Universidade de Cambridge. Em encontros semanais com professores habilitados - inclusive com experiência no exterior - os alunos, em grupos máximos de doze, têm oportunidade de desenvolver a conversação de forma dinâmica e interativa. Além da interação na turma, são oportunizados também encontros com estrangeiros que fazem intercâmbio na nossa região. Assim, a aprendizagem poder ser testada e aperfeiçoada através da conversação com pessoas que têm o inglês como língua materna.
Estrutura
O curso está estruturado em oito semestres. Em cada semestre são ministradas 50 horas de aula divididas em encontros semanais de 2,5h. O material didático está organizado em 04 livros, a saber: Interchange Intro; Interchange 1; Interchange 2 e Interchange 3.
Formas de ingresso
A cada semestre são iniciadas novas turmas. Pessoas que já têm algum conhecimento podem solicitar o ingresso em níveis mais avançados. Esse avanço é possível desde que o interessado seja considerado apto mediante avaliação feita pelo próprio CICLAK.
